A part of my story began in one of the most remote and breathtaking corners of Alaska — a tiny village overlooking the deep, quiet beauty of the most incredible Aleut village. My family lived in a modest 12×12 shack perched just feet from a 40-foot bluff, with the ocean stretching endlessly before us and a brilliant white mountain peak rising behind our home.

Life was simple… but extraordinary.
──────────────────────────
There was no running water, no electricity where we lived (and only limited power in the main village), and a one-room schoolhouse with just 26 children — yet it was a place filled with wonder, resilience, and a kind of magic that never leaves you.
──────────────────────────
I lived in the old village across a river from the main village, and my little red three-wheeler was my daily transport. I drove it to school each day, crossing riverbeds and shoreline — the Alaskan way.
──────────────────────────
Some of my best memories were made there: catching fish off the docks where commercial vessels unloaded, exploring the rocky shoreline, and standing on the beach looking out at the mountains and the bay.
──────────────────────────
Even now, when I close my eyes, I’m standing on that beach again — feeling the wind, smelling the salt, hearing the quiet.
──────────────────────────
I often think about how blessed I was to grow up in a place that many people will only ever read about or dream of visiting. And it’s true what they say: once you go to Alaska, a part of you never leaves.
──────────────────────────
Those roots shaped who I am — grounded, grateful, and forever connected to the wild beauty of the Last Frontier.

Now, while the cruises I offer don’t sail to that exact remote village of my childhood, they do capture the spirit of Alaska that I hold dear. My goal is to help my clients experience even a piece of that wonder. Through carefully curated Alaska cruises, I can share the landscapes, the stillness, and the awe that shaped my childhood. It’s not just a voyage; it’s a way to bring a piece of my own story to those who crave a touch of Alaska’s magic.
